Karla Callender is a seasoned insurance professional and the Co-Owner of Mountain Vibe Insurance. Since entering the industry in 2013, Karla has dedicated her career to simplifying the complexities of the insurance world for business owners. With an extensive background in Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance and three years of specialized experience in health insurance, she brings a holistic and highly technical perspective to every client relationship. As a designated Commercial Lines Coverage Specialist (CLCS), Karla is an expert at identifying the nuances of policy forms to ensure comprehensive protection. Her unique approach blends a passion for teaching with a talent for "organizing chaos." At Mountain Vibe, she is the architect behind the agency’s rigorous systems and processes, ensuring that no detail is overlooked and that every business owner receives a structured, reliable risk management strategy. Karla’s commitment to education extends far beyond the office. She proudly serves as the Vice President of the Latin American Association of Insurance Agencies (LAAIA), where she focuses on empowering the Latin community through insurance literacy and advocacy. Born in Mexico and a resident of Colorado since the age of five, Karla is deeply rooted in the local community and is passionate about bridging the gap between complex regulations and the people who need protection most. When she isn’t auditing policies or streamlining agency operations, Karla is a devoted boy mom to two sons and has been married to her life and business partner, Kindel, since 2014. True to the "Mountain Vibe" spirit, the Callender family spends their free time camping, dirt biking, and vacationing together. An enthusiast of strategy and focus, Karla also enjoys the precision of golf, the challenge of a 1,000-piece jigsaw puzzle, or a quiet day at home recharging with family and friends.
